Terms of Service
Effective October 18, 2026
1. Who we are & acceptance
MoneySkins ("the Service") is operated by The Global Paradise LLC ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is greater) and legally able to enter a binding contract. You agree to comply with the Steam Subscriber Agreement and all laws that apply to you. The Service is not available where it is prohibited by law, and you confirm you are not subject to any applicable sanctions or prohibited-persons list.
3. Your account
You sign in with your Steam account and verify an email address and phone number before you can trade. Keep your credentials secure; you are responsible for all activity under your account. You may hold one account, and you agree to provide accurate information and keep it current.
4. What MoneySkins is (and isn't)
MoneySkins is a peer-to-peer marketplace that lets users buy and sell in-game items. Trades take place between users, and we are not the buyer or seller and are not a party to any trade. Items are transferred through Steam's trading system. We provide the wallet, the listing and matching tools, and hold buyer funds while a trade completes.
MoneySkins is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Valve Corporation or Steam. Steam, Counter-Strike 2, Team Fortress 2 and Dota 2 are trademarks of Valve Corporation.
5. Wallet, deposits & fees
Wallet balances are held in US dollars. When you buy an item, the purchase amount is held from your available balance until the trade completes or is cancelled. On a completed sale, MoneySkins charges a platform fee of 2.5% of the sale price, and the remainder is credited to the seller. Applicable fees are shown before you confirm a transaction.
Card payments. There is no separate top-up: if your balance does not cover a purchase, you pay the difference by card through our third-party payment provider, with a minimum card payment of $0.50. The card payment is added to your wallet balance and held for the purchase. Anything you pay beyond what the purchase needs stays in your wallet balance, and if the item is no longer available when your payment completes, the full amount stays in your wallet balance. Card payments are charged in US dollars; your bank may add its own currency conversion fee, and it may ask you to confirm the payment.
6. Buying
When you buy an item, your funds are held while the seller accepts the sale within 48 hours and then sends the item through Steam within 6 hours. If the seller does not accept or send in time and Steam shows nothing was sent, the purchase is cancelled and the held funds are returned to your wallet balance. Where we cannot confirm with Steam what happened to a trade, the funds remain held rather than released, and we resolve it manually. One exception: if a CS2 seller has not accepted your purchase within 48 hours, we cannot check their Steam trades because their Steam access token is missing or no longer valid, and the item is still in their Steam inventory, the purchase is cancelled and the held funds are returned to your wallet balance. Once a trade completes, the purchase is final, except for a CS2 trade the seller reverses, described in section 7.
Bargains. Instead of paying the listed price, you can offer a lower one, called a Bargain. The seller can accept, decline or counter within 48 hours, and you can counter back. If the seller accepts, you have 3 hours to pay the agreed price. A Bargain you do not pay for in time lapses, and repeated lapses can limit your ability to make Bargains.
7. Selling
When you list an item, you agree to deliver it through Steam, to the matched buyer only, within the posted time windows once a purchase is made. You deliver by sending a Steam trade offer that gives the item and asks for nothing in return; an offer that asks the buyer for items does not count as delivery. Failing to deliver may result in cancellation, loss of the sale, and action on your account. You must own each item you list and have the right to sell it.
CS2 items. Steam lets a completed CS2 trade be reversed for 7 days. For that reason we hold the payout for a CS2 sale for 7 days and 12 hours after the buyer accepts the trade. If the trade is reversed during Steam's trade protection period, the sale is cancelled, the buyer is refunded to their wallet balance, and the seller's account is frozen pending review. To let us check CS2 trades, sellers add a Steam access token in their account settings, or let the MoneySkins trade helper keep it fresh once they allow it. Your CS2 listings stay visible when the token expires, but you need a valid token to accept a sale, and a CS2 sale you have not accepted within 48 hours while your token is missing or no longer valid is cancelled as described in section 6.
8. Withdrawals
You may request a withdrawal of your available balance; funds held for an open purchase are not available. Withdrawals are paid by PayPal, from $5.00 to $5,000.00 per request, one request at a time. Withdrawals are reviewed and approved manually. We may hold, review, or decline a withdrawal where we reasonably suspect fraud, a chargeback risk, or a breach of these Terms, or where required by law. We do not guarantee a specific payout time.
9. Refunds & cancellations
Refunds for cancelled or failed trades are returned to your MoneySkins wallet balance, not to your original payment method. Once a trade completes it is final, except for a CS2 trade reversed during Steam's trade protection period (section 7). Adding funds to your wallet is a deposit and is not, by itself, refundable to your card.
10. Chargebacks & payment disputes
Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute on funds you have deposited or spent is a breach of these Terms. If you do, we may freeze your account, recover the disputed amount from your balance (which may result in a negative balance), and suspend your access until the matter is resolved. If a payment dispute is later resolved in your favor, we will reverse any related adjustment.
If your card issuer only opens an inquiry about a payment, no money is taken and you can keep trading, but withdrawals are paused until the inquiry closes. If the inquiry becomes a chargeback, the paragraph above applies.
11. Prohibited conduct
You agree not to commit fraud or scams; use stolen items, accounts, or payment methods; manipulate prices or the marketplace; circumvent fees or arrange off-platform trades initiated through the Service; operate multiple accounts; use bots or automated tools other than our official trade helper; impersonate MoneySkins staff; or harass other users. We may remove listings and take account action for any of these.
Tags on profiles, such as Owner, are given only by MoneySkins staff and are informational. MoneySkins staff will never ask you to trade, pay, or share codes outside the Service.
12. Steam dependency
Trades rely on Steam. Steam may impose trade holds, escrow periods, or downtime that are outside our control. We are not responsible for delays, holds, or losses caused by Steam, by your Steam settings, or by sending the wrong item.
13. Suspension & termination
We may suspend, limit, or terminate your account for breach of these Terms, suspected fraud, chargebacks, or as required by law. Balances associated with fraud or an unresolved dispute may be withheld pending review.
14. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that an item will sell or that a specific item will be available to buy, and item prices are set by users and fluctuate. Nothing on the Service is investment advice.
15. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Global Paradise LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the total fees you paid us in the three months before the claim or USD 100. Nothing in these Terms removes any consumer rights that cannot be waived under the law that applies to you.
16. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify The Global Paradise LLC against claims, losses, and expenses arising from your misuse of the Service or your breach of these Terms.
17. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date, and your continued use of the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
18. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Idaho. Mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence continue to apply.
