Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

MoneySkins is operated by The Global Paradise LLC. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. For any privacy question or request, contact hi@moneyskins.com.

2. Information we collect

We collect your Steam ID and public Steam profile (such as your display name and avatar) when you sign in; the email address and phone number you provide, which we use for verification, security, and service notices; your Steam trade link; the Steam Web API key you choose to add and, if you sell CS2 items, the Steam access token you add, both stored encrypted and used only to check the trades you are part of; snapshots of your Steam inventory when you open it on MoneySkins, and of the items you list; your transaction information, including wallet balance, deposits, purchases, sales, Bargains, and withdrawal requests; the PayPal email address you give for withdrawals, stored encrypted; the IP address and time of your last sign-in, which you can see under Sessions, and the IP address recorded with security-sensitive actions; and basic device and usage data. Card payments are processed by our payment provider, and we do not store your full card details.

Your store page. If you claim a store page, your display name, avatar, handle, bio, verified badges, any public tag MoneySkins staff have given you (such as Owner), active listings, number of sales and the date you joined are visible to anyone. A public tag also shows next to your listings. How recently you were active (for example "Active today" or "Last seen 4d ago") is shown there and next to your listings, so buyers know when to expect you.

Our browser helper. The optional MoneySkins browser helper runs on Steam's trade offer page and on moneyskins.com. It selects the item for a trade offer you start from MoneySkins and lets our site know it is installed. If you turn on CS2 token sync in the helper, which is off until you allow it, the helper reads the web token Steam gives your browser on steamcommunity.com, only while you have CS2 listings or sales with us, or when you ask it to while listing one, checks it belongs to the Steam account linked to your MoneySkins account, and sends it to us over an encrypted connection. We store it encrypted, as described above, and use it only to check the trade offers for your sales. The helper collects nothing else, keeps nothing itself, and you can turn sync off in the helper at any time.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to operate the marketplace and your wallet, verify your identity and secure your account, process trades and payouts, prevent fraud and abuse, provide support, comply with our legal obligations, and improve the Service.

4. How we share your information

We share information only as needed to run the Service: with the providers that work on our behalf, namely Stripe (card payments), Twilio (phone verification messages), Resend (email delivery), our hosting provider and Google Analytics (basic site measurement; it sets analytics cookies only if you allow them); with PayPal, to send the withdrawals you request; with Steam, to carry out the trades you initiate; and where required by law or to prevent fraud. We do not sell your personal data.

5. How we protect your information

We store your information securely and use industry-standard safeguards. Sensitive credentials you add are kept using strong encryption and are never displayed back to you.

6. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active and for as long as needed to meet our legal, accounting, and fraud-prevention obligations, after which we delete or anonymize it.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, including the EU and UK, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data and to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, contact hi@moneyskins.com and we will respond within the time the law requires. You can also manage your notification preferences in your account settings.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies to run the site and keep you signed in. Where required, we use analytics cookies only with your consent. You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of this page.

9. Children

The Service is intended for adults who are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in their jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone younger.
